Commercial Line Striping – Automotive Dealership

Project: Curry Chevrolet, located in Scarsdale, NY, proudly ranks as one of the busiest dealerships in Westchester County. As part of their commitment to excellence, Curry Chevrolet reached out to CertaPro Painters for an important client facing project: re-lining and striping their parking lots, and the creation of designated no-parking areas, as well as painting of all of their safety poles.

Process: CertaPro’s key focus on this project was precision and attention to detail. The first step involved cleaning the parking lot thoroughly, deploying a power broom to ensure the surface was free from any loose asphalt. To minimize customer disruption, CertaPro used a battery powered Graco Lazer Line sprayer, which is much quieter than a traditional gas unit. The battery-powered sprayer not only reduced noise but also ensured the correct thickness and accuracy of the paint application.

Products Used: INSL-X Traffic Paint, known for its rapid drying time of just 30 minutes, was the paint of choice for this project. This quick-drying feature significantly reduced downtime at the dealership, allowing them to resume regular operations promptly.

Results: The CertaPro Painters® team successfully re-lined and striped all 150 parking spots, established four designated no-parking areas, and meticulously painted every safety pole all in just one day. This efficient execution of the project meant that the dealership experienced minimal downtime.  This transformation of Curry Chevrolet’s parking lot not only enhances the appearance of the dealership but also contributes to the safety and organization of their very busy parking lot.
