Get To Know: Dan
I was born in Lewiston, Idaho, and all I remember of that time was learning to ride my bike and walking to the ice cream shop with my Dad. My family then moved to Yakima, Washington where I filled my time building tree forts and jumping on our trampoline. When I was twelve, my parents wanted to move to Minnesota. I was very reluctant because I knew it was cold, flat, and riddled with mosquitos. Turns out my opinion didn’t carry much weight, because we moved to St. Cloud, MN. I have lived in Minnesota for 22 years now, and I’m proud to be a Minnesotan! I graduated from Saint John’s University and still like to make it back to cheer for the Johnnies. I enjoy exploring the many lakes, so much so that I completed an eight month canoe expedition from the Gulf of Mexico to the Arctic Ocean. When I returned from my voyage, I asked my very patient girlfriend (of five years) to marry me, and after some prompting she said yes! Now, we have two beautiful kids and a freshly painted house!
