External factors, such as weather conditions or changes in the scope of previous projects, could potentially affect your start date.
If any adjustments are needed, we will promptly inform you as soon as possible.
For Exterior Projects: Preparation Guidelines
To ensure an efficient, safe, and smooth process for your exterior painting project, please complete the following tasks before our arrival:
- Foliage: Trim back any bushes or vines that are touching the house or surfaces to be painted by at least 12 inches. If this isn’t feasible, we will attempt to paint around the plants, but perfect coverage cannot be guaranteed.
- Windows: Ensure all windows are securely closed before we start pressure washing. If you have experienced water leaks around your windows or doors previously, please inform your Job Site Supervisor and consider placing towels around windows prone to leakage.
- Decks/Porches: Remove all small and fabric items from your porches and decks before we begin pressure washing and painting. Note that we will not pressure wash decks unless they are being stained by us to prevent potential paint peeling.
- Pets: Keep pets away from the work area. If there are specific instructions for gates, latches, or other pet-related details, please notify your Job Site Supervisor.
- Property Access: Provide access to all areas of the property within the scope of work. Unlock gates and provide any necessary codes for locks or lockboxes.
- Water & Electricity: We will need access to exterior water spigots and electricity. Please inform your Job Site Supervisor of their locations.
- Parking: If there are parking restrictions in your area, please inform us in advance. For city buildings with limited parking, suggest the best available parking location.
- Assistance: If you need help with any of these preparations, contact us, and we will assist you; additional charges may apply.
- HOA Permission: Check with your Homeowners Association for any color or work restrictions and ensure compliance with their guidelines.

CertaPro Painters® Will Perform the Following Services:
- We will relocate all large patio or porch furniture to the center of the area or another location away from the work zone. Please note that there may be weight restrictions for moving heavy items.
- Furniture that remains near the work area will be covered with plastic and/or painter’s drop cloths to protect it from paint and debris.
- Once the job is complete, we will return any moved patio or porch furniture to its original position.
- We will remove and dispose of all trash, leftover materials, and empty paint cans from your property.
- Leftover paint cans will be clearly marked and left with you for future reference and touch-ups, if requested.
Walkthrough and Project Communication
To ensure your complete satisfaction with the finished project, the Job Site Supervisor will address any questions and conduct a final walkthrough with you once the work is completed. Payment for the project is due after this walkthrough. The Supervisor’s goal is to showcase the exceptional quality of the work and ensure you are pleased with the results.
The Job Site Supervisor will notify you of the expected completion day and time. After the walkthrough, please sign our Completion Certificate and provide your check payment to the Supervisor. For cash or credit card payments, please contact the owner, Leonard Martinez. Make sure to schedule time for this essential final review with the Job Site Supervisor.
