Cabinet Painting Project in Lakewood
We worked with Megan on her kitchen remodel. Older wood cabinets were in tough shape. Dings gouges and stains. We removed the old wood Wainscotting/paneling and installed new up-to-date “boxed’ style wainscoting. Walls were painted gray to match their other living spaces.
We completely transformed the cabinets/wainscotting to a beautiful luxurious white semi-gloss finish. Great contrast with the gray walls.
To date, our experience with CertaPro has been exemplary. Information is provided swiftly and clearly. We have a relatively large community and they have worked with us, understanding the nuances that come with working inside of an Association-based multifamily setting. We are very happy without experience so far and are certain that will not change as the project continues.

Peeling and faded paint from years of wear & tear
INCLUDED IN THIS PROJECT
Cabinets: Remote spray booth was set up in the garage. We removed, hardware, doors and fronts. Sanding, priming and spraying two coats of Sherwin Williams Pro-Classic interior.
Wainscotting: Removal of existing wainscotting, spackling to areas behind the wainscotting. Installed new paneling/trim. Scuff sand and paint two coats to match cabinets.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT AND TECHNIQUES
HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) Sprayer was used to achieve a finer/smoother finish than would otherwise be achievable with a normal airless sprayer.
