42 Park Mall
Commercial Painting Projects in Tacoma
Commercial Painting Case Study for 42 Park Mall
42 Park Mall is a 20,000 sq ft, 3 story stucco building in Tacoma comprised of office and retail spaces.
Experienced and efficient painters that produced a high quality completed task. I am very pleased with communications with painters to address my concerns before they became an issue... preventative maintenance instead of corrective maintenance.
Thanks for the conscientious and greatly appreciated efforts. I would definitely use your services in the future.

CHALLENGES:
42 Park Mall is a 20,000 sq ft, 3 story stucco building in Tacoma comprised of office and retail spaces.
CONDITIONS:
The paint was faded. The stucco was littered with cracks and chips that needed texture repairs. Extensive carpentry work was needed to repair the stucco cracks and densglass. The drop ceiling in the parking garage was water-stained and worn.
INCLUDED IN THIS PROJECT
Quite a bit of carpentry, including stucco patches and a sizable amount of densglass repairs.
CHALLENGES
Parking garage had a drop ceiling so we had to be careful to paint it without damaging or moving the framing and tiles.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT AND TECHNIQUES
Due to the height of the building, a 60’ boom lift was required to reach the top. The building is on a slope, so reaching the back of the building was difficult due to the trees and foliage. We had to work off-hours because of the traffic. The high-traffic area surrounding the building required us to get permits, barricades and a flag person while we were working on the boom.
PROJECT TIMELINE
We were able to complete this project in one month.
