Residential Painting Project

Project: A young couple of DIYers wanted to move out of the city and into the suburbs. The new homeowners bought this house knowing there were a number of projects to do, but loved the house and the lot. While they can do quite a bit of the work themselves, they wanted help with a few things before they moved in. The CertaPro Painters® of SW Metro team helped alleviate some of the move-in pressures and completed a variety of projects for the new homeowners.

Process: Over the course of one and a half weeks, our team tackled a variety of different projects. The popcorn ceilings were removed and a textured ceiling was applied. Wallpaper was removed in all of the rooms – they were skimmed, sanded, primed and ready for painting. Our team removed a section of wall in the kitchen to open up the space for the view. A few door frames were removed to open up space and promote an open concept flow of the household. Dated, unnecessary trim was removed and some drywall repairs were done. Our team painted the main living area and master bedroom, while the homeowners will be painting the other rooms. After our work was completed, the home is now looking beautiful and is ready for the young couple to start their projects.
