Residential Painting Project
This water front lake house is owned by a local brother and sister duo who own multiple homes, buildings and businesses in Minnesota and Florida. The pair inherited this property from their father and saw the need to freshen up the home. There were quite a few boards that had rotted over time and needed to be replaced prior to adding a fresh coat of paint. The owners wanted to brighten up the home with white paint to contrast with black light fixtures and accents. Our work began with replacing the rotted boards and painting the home’s exterior siding and window frames. We then stained the deck a color that was two shades darker than the exterior paint color they’d selected. After the deck and railings were stained, the owners wanted the railings to have more of a wooden color. They wanted shutters and thought the railings should complement them. The shutters were custom built to match each window on the Lake House and the Boat House. The finished product has both great curb and lakeside appeal. With the exterior work completed, we have moved to begin work on the home’s interior!
