How much will it cost to paint my house?

We will come and take a look at your project to give you an accurate estimate.

Do you have a project minimum?

Yes, $1,500.00. We have to pay a crew for the day.

Is there anything that can change the cost of a project after a customer receives a quote?

If there are options or additions that the customer would like. Occasionally, there are ‘Unforeseen Circumstances’ that arise. This would require a discussion with the customer about proceeding.

How much paint do you need to paint a home?

We always do 2 coats and it varies on the size and scope of each project.

When is the best time to paint?

Spring is always good for exterior. Late summer and fall are ideal. Before you put the home on the market or before moving in. Life events can influence interior painting.

How often should people paint their homes?

For exteriors, every 7 – 10 years. For interiors, 5 – 8 years.

How long does it take to paint a home?

For exteriors, 4 – 7 days.For interiors, 3 – 7 days.

Are you insured?

We are insured and our sub-contractors are insured.

What licenses do you have?

The state of Minnesota doesn’t require a license for painting. We are Lead Certified and adhere to the EPA Lead Safe Guidelines.

How many people do you send out for a job?

Typically, we send 2 – 4 people out for a job.

Is your team employees or subcontractors?

Our in-house staff are employees. Our painters are sub-contractors, some have been
with us for 7 or 8 years.

How will my project be managed?

The Job Site Supervisor will oversee your project.

Is there a warranty?

We provide a 2-year warranty.

How long have you been in business?

10 years.

Painting

What type of paint do you use?

Sherwin Williams.

Do you have eco-friendly paint options?

Yes.

Do you use any materials aside from paint?

Drywall and commercial wallpaper.

Colors

What colors do you suggest for the exterior?

Anything but tan.

Do you have color consultations?

Yes, and there is no charge for the color consultation.

Are there certain color palettes you suggest for interior?

For selling, something neutral for the main living areas. You want to keep the home move in ready.

Preparations and After

Is there anything the homeowner should do to prep for your crew to arrive?

All of this will be described in the proposal.

What is your cleanup process?

We make sure everything is cleaned to the customer’s approval.

Are there any services not listed on your website that you perform and would like to see added? If so, what are they?

Brick painting, commercial floor polishing and painting.

What commercial properties do you work on?

Schools, warehouses, churches, offices, banks. Also manufacturing buildings, HOA’s.

What’s your most popular service?

Painting middle to large sized houses.

Is there anything unique about the area you work in?

The Southwest Metro is pretty diverse from small single family ramblers to gated
communities and lake properties.

Is weather a factor in your area when it comes to wear and tear on exterior painting or the painting process in general? What specific weather conditions cause this?

Extreme cold to humid hot.
