Commercial Case Study
Residential Condominium
Pre-War Residential Condominium
Project: Common areas from Lobby to Top Floor had to be prepared and painted. Failing coatings, sealants and metal finishes. Extremely dated color scheme and appearance. Scheduling and minimal tenant disruption were key to this project
Process: The CertaPro crew needed to scrape any loose or peeling paint, patch any cracks, holes and perforations, feather sand where scraped, scuff sand glossy surfaces to promote adhesion of new coating, spot prime where bare, caulk any open gaps and joints where previously caulked, and apply two coats of specified finish paint of the color and sheen. Special attention was given to bottom sides of staircase where the coating was heavily peeling. Our painters scraped areas thoroughly, wiped down with a denatured alcohol solution and primed with one coated with of Pro-Industrial 100% Acrylic primer.
Products Used: Benjamin Moore Ultraspec 500, Scuff-X, Regal Select, and CoraTech PreCat Epoxy
Results: All repaired and re-coated for a clean, modernized appearance.
CertaPro Painters did an exceptionally professional job at our building. There were no delays from start to finish. The painting crew was skilled and courteous to all the building residents. The supervisor was always accessible and responsive to concerns and changes. At the end of each day the building was left clean and organized. Everyone who lives here was impressed with these services and would highly recommend CertaPro Painters.
