Chatham Bars Inn – Historic Hotel Interior Painting / Travel Work
Project: Chatham Bars Inn is an historic hotel located in Cape Cod MA. Painting the interior of the rooms and common areas on the Coastline Bluffs section with a travelling crew for 12 weeks in winter 2024.
Process: CertaPro Painters® of Southern Westchester, NY Commercial Services was selected by the ownership of the Chatham Bars Inn in Chatham MA for restoration and finish-painting work while the hotel was at low occupancy. CertaPro sent a travelling crew in to repaint the guest rooms and common spaces. Ceilings, walls and trim were repainted. Many areas had color changes as per their designer and CertaPro consulted on products and sheens and executed the prep and paint work to bring a new and modern look to these areas.
Products Used: Benjamin Moore Ultra Spec 500, Benjamin Moore Regal Select in Flat, Satin and Pearl finishes, Zinsser in Semi Gloss
Colors included Chantilly Lace OC-65, Sonnet AF-55 (Beige), Shoreline 1471 (Grey) and Perma-White
Results: Project was produced per all customer specifications, on budget and on timeline to limit disturbance before the beginning of peak season. CertaPro delivered a clean and durable finish while protecting the hotel furnishings. The hotel maintained full operations during production and CertaPro Painters along with Chatham Bars management set up and executed on a gameplan that resulted in zero guest complaints. The six-person travel crew lived on site for 12 weeks during the project, which greatly enhanced overall efficiency and output.

Chatham Bars Inn is a Forbes 5-star property and is consistently rated the top hotel in Massachusetts and one of the top hotels in the world, so we have pretty high standards.
