Commercial Concrete Flooring Project
Project: Warehouse facility in Plainview Long Island. CertaPro was contacted for a quick turnaround project, to get the space ready for the new tenant. The previous concrete flooring did not have an existing coating and had heavy oil stains that needed to be removed before re-coating.
Process: Preparation included pouring 30,000 pounds of concrete into damaged areas and grinding 40,000 square feet of existing concrete to have it ready to accept the new top coating. Once all preparation was completed the application included installation of one high build epoxy primer and one high build epoxy topcoat.
Products Used: Rapid Set Green Bag concrete, Sherwin-Williams high build Epoxy primer, Sherwin-Williams high build Epoxy topcoat.
Results: All repairs completed as per specifications and client expectations, new commercial concrete floor was installed and ready for new tenant to move in on time. Project completed in full in 15 days.
