The Building:

CertaPro Painters® of Southern Westchester, NY was hired to repaint the exterior of The Orienta Beach Country Club, located in Mamaroneck, NY.
The club overlooks the Long Island Sound. It needed the exterior of the main Clubhouse and attached Banquet Hall re-painted. They were changing colors and there were several areas that required carpentry repairs.

Scope of the Project:

The club remained open daily for activities and continued to host weekend events. We worked closely with the Club to establish priorities and a daily work schedule and ensure all equipment and materials were stored in a designated location at the end of each work week.
Midway through the project, the Club asked our crew to repair and re-paint 4 additional buildings (Winter Clubhouse Building, Tennis Shop, Well & Paddle Hut, and a large Shed).

The following Spring the Club asked CertaPro Painters® of Southern Westchester, NY to complete several additional painting projects:

  • Power wash and re-stain the exterior of the Pool House.
  • Paint all exterior wood trim on the Pool House and 53 cabanas.
  • Paint the vertical metal posts and horizontal beams on the wood pier that extends into the Long Island Sound.

    • Problem: The metal posts and beams required the application of specialized epoxy primer and paint. Several of the posts were only accessible during low tide.
    Solution: We started work at 4:30 am for several days before the tide changed.
