PROJECT SCOPE:

This project involved a complete interior repaint across all common areas within the three condominium buildings. All ceilings, walls, suite doors, door frames, and chair rails were repainted throughout hallways, stairwells, lobbies, and additional shared spaces. The work also included extensive drywall repairs, ensuring damaged or worn surfaces were properly restored before painting began.

Given the scale of the property and the volume of surfaces involved, the work required careful sequencing and consistent quality control to maintain uniform finishes across multiple buildings and floors.

CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS:

One of the primary challenges was the sheer number of suite doors, with hundreds requiring painting. To manage this efficiently and respectfully, CertaPro coordinated closely with property management to schedule work in a way that minimized disruption to residents. Maintaining uninterrupted access to all units and common areas was a top priority, so the project was staged carefully, allowing residents to safely move through the buildings while work was underway.

Because the property remained fully occupied throughout the three-month timeline, extra attention was given to cleanliness, safety, communication, and workflow planning to ensure a smooth experience for everyone involved.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT & TECHNIQUES:

To achieve consistent, professional results across large surfaces, ceilings were sprayed using a Graco 640 paint sprayer, providing smooth coverage and efficiency across the multi-storey buildings. Long commercial-grade rollers were used for hallway walls, allowing the crew to maintain productivity while delivering uniform finishes over extended corridor lengths.
