Comparing Painting Estimates can be very difficult and frustrating for a consumer. I, have had 7 different estimates on the exterior of my home with more than a $3,000 range from high to low price. We want to help you compare apples to apples and help you get the best work, product, value, and experience for your money. If you really want to hire us to paint your home, you like us and trust us the most, but you have another estimate to do the same work for less, let us know. If we can match it, we will!
Some key things we really ask you to focus on are:
- What Brand of Paint and actual paint system
- Kelly Moore Acry-Shield or Sherwin Williams Super-Paint
- 1 coat versus 2
- Spray and backroll is one coat. Spraying it and then pushing it into the surface is one coat. Coming behind it and spraying it again is a 2nd coat.
- Licensed with CSLB
- Current Certificate of Insurance
- We provide this with every estimate and so should every other painter.
- Are the painters employees of the business or are they sub-contractors?
- Ask for details in your proposal to include all surfaces you want painted such as:
- All Window trim wrapped or faced.
- Power Wash included
- How will the paint be applied – Spray only or spray and backroll, and then spray again.
- What is included in prep?
