Starlight Theatre

Project: Starlight Theatre in Kansas City, MO reached out to us for help revamping their outdoor venue which involved staining woodwork and painting the theatre’s exterior surfaces.

Process: Over time, the theatre’s exterior surfaces had become faded and worn after years of being exposed to the elements. Once all areas were prepared by our commercial painting crew, the team stained the theatre’s wood ceilings and painted the theatre’s exterior items which included ticket windows, doors, door frames, guest information booths, furniture, and show art frames.

Due to this being a show venue, our team made sure to work around the theatre’s schedule to paint after show season had ended. The project took place in October and since some products could only be applied in temperatures 50 degrees or higher, our crew worked diligently to beat winter weather and ensure the job be completed before the temperatures started to really drop. Even with a strict schedule, CertaPro Painters® of Shawnee-Mission was able to complete the job within four days.
