About the Project
The Location:
Piedmont Medical Center was constructing a brand new hospital to support the growing Fort Mill, SC community. The GC, Robins & Morton reached out to CertaPro Painters to prepare and paint the new Emergency Helipad.
Condition:
CertaPro Painters of Rock Hill & SW Charlotte would be painting the newly laid, rough texture finished helipad foundation.
Project Involvement:
We were provided detailed layout specifications that needed to meet strict FAA regulations. Working with Sherwin Williams we developed a materials plan that included a concrete pre-prime treatment (MacroPoxy Pre-Prime) and then application of SW Polylon HP epoxy as well as slip coating.
Special Challenges & Equipment:
Highly detailed layout, and use of challenging products and short deliverable timeline to meet the clients inspection needs. We also used laser guides for the layout. This was a technically challenging project utilizing specific materials that needed to be prepared and applied in limit time frames.
