Hyster-Yale Global Showroom
In early 2019, CertaPro Painters of Rock Hill & SW Charlotte helped Hyster-Yale transform their global showroom from a dated industrial space to a branded destination as part of preparing for a major international event.
The building was in generally good condition and needed only minor repair to EFIS surfaces and other areas. Some expansion joints needed attention with new backer-rod and sealant. It was in need a of a good washing before further work could be done.

CHALLENGES:
CHALLENGES:In early 2019 we helped Hyster-Yale prep for an international event. We transformed their global showroom from a dated industrial space to a branded destination. Ultimately, the building was in good condition.
We used a 65′ articulated boom lift in order to access the large overhead entrance canopy. Our team of commercial painters used additional lifts to increase production speed. They used multiple masking efforts in order to articulate the color banding. Full masking of the multi-storied window sets.
CONDITIONS:
- Good overall condition.
- Minor EIFS repairs necessary.
- Power washing was necessary before work could begin.

- Branded painting.
- Repairs to EIFS surfaces.
- Expansion joint updates with backer-rod and sealant.
- Power washing prior to complete repainting.

BEFORE PHOTOS
Before the project began we did an assessment of the building. A number of issues were found. We included repairs in the full project outline.
WORK IN PROGRESS
Due to the large size of the building and it’s difficult to reach surfaces, extension ladders and a lift were used to get crew members safely into a position where they could make repairs and paint surfaces.
THE FINAL RESULTS
After completion we walked around the building and took photos of each area of concern that were noted at the beginning of the project. The once failing surfaces look brand new again.
