In March 2025, Our team pressure washed and thoroughly wiped down all surfaces to be painted, ensuring they were clean and ready for preparation. We scraped away any loose or peeling paint, caulked previously caulked gaps and cracks, and spot primed any bare wood and metal in the areas being painted. After completing the prep work, we applied a fresh coat of paint to all designated surfaces, ensuring a smooth and durable finish.

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
CertaPro Painters® of Roanoke, VA, repainted the exterior of a home in Roanoke. The home was in need of a refresh as the previous coat of paint had faded and chipped, with a need of a good wash prior to painting.
The special equipment required for this project included tall ladders, as the house had three stories, and the exterior surfaces to be painted were located at significant heights. Our team used this equipment to safely access all areas and complete the job efficiently.

The main challenge on this project was working around the unpredictable weather conditions typical of Virginia, with cold mornings and evenings followed by warmer days. Our team adapted to these temperature fluctuations to ensure the proper application of materials and maintain the quality of the work throughout the project.
