Christiansburg Residential Interior Painting Case Study

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT

In June 2025, CertaPro Painters® of Roanoke, VA, completed an interior painting project for a home in Christiansburg, VA. The home’s interior was in need of a refresh, particularly in high-traffic areas where walls showed scuff marks, minor dents, scratches, and fading due to sun exposure. Uneven tones from removed furniture and wall décor, along with dull surfaces and buildup near vents and baseboards, made the space feel tired and worn.

Our team, led by Marbel and Luis, carefully prepared the surfaces before applying any paint. We scraped away any loose or peeling paint, removed failing caulk and replaced it with fresh application, and filled nail holes.

The crew then painted all walls using Sherwin-Williams Interior Super Paint in Satin, providing a smooth, even finish with renewed color and vibrancy. In addition, we spot-primed where needed, touched up two lower hallway doors with stain, and completed necessary touch-ups throughout. One coat of Sherwin-Williams Super Paint in Semi-Gloss was applied to the baseboard trim where needed.

CHALLENGES

A key challenge for this project involved stain blocking and matching the texture of previously damaged or uneven areas. Our team took special care to ensure a consistent, professional finish across all surfaces.

PROJECT TIMELINE

The project was completed in 2 days.

The refreshed interior gave the home a cleaner, brighter appearance, enhancing both comfort and aesthetic appeal. Check out the photos below to see the impressive transformation!
