Cement Porch Refinishing

Our team was hired to repaint the porch of a residential home in July of 2022. The cement porch had severe paint failure due to wear and tear from exposure to the elements over the years. The porch ceiling also had severe paint peeling due to a previous roof leak.

The CertaPro Painters® of Roanoke, VA crew started the project by pressure washing, scraping, and sanding the porch floor and steps. The team also scuff-sanded some areas to create a profile that the new paint product would adhere to. Once the damaged areas were scrapped and sanded, we coated the floor with Sherwin Williams ArmorSeal® Tread-Plex™, which is an industrial protective marine coating. The project took two days to complete and resulted in a stunning finish the clients loved!
