Kitchen Cabinet Refresh
Residential Painting Project
Kitchen Cabinet Case Study
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
The Kitchen Cabinetry was a dark espresso color and in good condition overall, with minimal wear and tear. To get started we removed all doors and drawers.
We sanded the cabinet doors & drawers off-site, however, the bodies of the cabinets were done in the client’s home. We used our Fes-tool dustless sander, to eliminate any dust particles from falling into the paint, as well as to prevent creating a mess in the Customer’s Home.
CHALLENGES:
Two of the Cabinet doors required extensive repairs, as each had a significant crack, on both sides of the panels. We used a wood filler, applying 2 coats. Then we sanded the doors smooth, primed, and painted. The Client was very impressed with how the repairs could not be seen at all, once we were finished.
PROJECT TIMELINE
The project took place in February 2023 and was completed in 4 days.
THE FINAL RESULTS
Freshly painted cabinets the clients loved that will last for years to come!
