Residential Exterior Painting Case Study

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
Our team was hired to change the exterior color of our client’s home, which had vinyl siding in good condition but also had dirt built up over the years. Before painting, we pressure-washed the exterior to ensure a thorough cleaning, using Sherwin Williams’ Simple Green cleaner/degreaser.

CHALLENGES:
The only significant challenge we encountered was helping the customer find the perfect color. Since we were painting vinyl, the paint needed to be formulated specifically for vinyl surfaces, and not all colors are available in this type of formula—particularly darker shades, such as black.

PROJECT TIMELINE
The project took place in February 2024 and was completed in 2.5 days.
