CertaPro Painters® of Roanoke, VA was recently contacted by a nearby FedEx location to give their warehouse’s interior and exterior a refresh. Our team first began pressure washing the exterior to remove any dirt and build-up on the surfaces and followed through with some light cleaning and dusting on the interior as well.

Once the surfaces were prepped and ready to go our team got to work painting. Because of the size of this building our painters had to use a 40ft scissor lift and a 25ft articulating boom lift to be sure that all areas could be reached. When working with lifts its important that our team stays focused and attentive so they can identify any existing hazards to ensure the safety of themselves as well as bystanders.

One challenge we faced during this project was scheduling each day, around the facility’s schedule and daily activities. To accommodate their flow of traffic and production our team began each day with interior painting. Once the facilities trucks were loaded and departed the team would shift their focus to the exterior until it was time for the trucks to return.

Overall, this project was completed in October of 2022 and took 2 weeks to complete. It was exciting to give this space a much-needed refresh and the client was thrilled with the end results.
