Retail Plaza Exterior Painting Project

CertaPro Painters® of Roanoke, VA, was tasked with completing an exterior painting project for a multi-business retail office space. The exterior worn and faded paint as well as peeling and chipping in high traffic areas.

After power washing all surfaces to ensure a clean foundation, we began the preparation process by scraping any loose or peeling paint, patching cracks, replacing failing caulk, and spot-priming as needed. All brick surfaces designated for painting were primed with Loxon Masonry Primer to ensure proper adhesion. Once prep work was complete, we painted all siding using Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint for a durable, long-lasting finish. Additionally, we coated the fascia trim, gutters, downspouts, doors, ceiling overhangs, and paintable lamp posts with great care and precision. For the metal roofing, lamp posts, tailings, and bollards, we used Sherwin-Williams Multi-Surface Acrylic to provide a resilient and professional finish across all surfaces.

The special challenge involved with this project was accessing high-up areas, which required the use of a lift to complete the work safely and efficiently. In addition, we worked carefully around businesses that remained open throughout the duration of the project.
