Office Interior Painting Project
In October 2024, CertaPro Painters® of Roanoke, VA, was hired to paint the office of an energy and fuel distribution company. Before the project began, the walls in both the main areas and offices were not uniform in color. There was wallpaper that had been embedded into the walls prior to our painters’ arrival. The office walls also had damage from chairs, with marks resulting from impact or friction against the surface.
The team started by scraping off any loose or peeling paint, filling nail holes, and replacing worn caulk. They relocated desks and equipment away from the walls and returned them to their original spots after painting. Our team removed the mirrors and paper towel dispensers, repaired the walls behind them, sanded the surfaces, painted everything, and then reinstalled the fixtures. All previously red walls were primed before applying Sherwin Williams Super Paint in HGSW7506 Loggia to the walls, while the door frames were painted with Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane Paint.
The main challenge of this project was removing wallpaper that had become deeply embedded in the wall over time. To tackle this, the team started by scoring the wallpaper with a scoring tool or utility knife. After applying a wallpaper removal solution and allowing it to soak in, they carefully removed the wallpaper in sections. Once the wallpaper was gone, they eliminated the adhesive residue and cleaned the walls.
The project was completed in 2 days, carried out during the business’s closed hours. Our team transformed the office with a refreshed look, resulting in another satisfied customer. Check out the transformation below!
