The CertaPro Painters® of Roanoke, VA team was delighted to work with a local company for a second commercial painting project. Our crew was tasked with refinishing the loading docks and entrances for the business. The metal elements of the handrails, steps and under side of the loading docks were very rusted and required special attention to revive the surface and prepare it for repainting. Our team prepped the surfaces by power washing to remove contaminants and loose rust pieces. The surfaces were then sanded and thoroughly cleaned with a special cleaning agent. Once the surfaces were free of rust and debris, the team applied extensive caulk repairs before using a special, heavy-duty Primer called Kem Kromik Universal Metal Primer was applied. Once all surfaces had been prepped and primed, we used Sher-Cryl Industrial paint on all surfaces. As you can see below, it was a huge transformation!
