Church Interior Painting
Commercial Case Study
The CertaPro Painters® of Roanoke, VA team worked with a local church to update their interior of the building. At the beginning of the project, it was clear that the space needed some attention. The ceilings and walls had not been painted in roughly 20 years with cracks in the vaulted ceiling that needed repairs.
Over the course of four days, the scope of this project included drywall and carpentry repairs prior to painting in order to prep the surface for a fresh coat. A unique aspect of these repairs was the requirement of a man lift, in order to repair and paint the 26 foot vaulted ceilings. With the repairs made, we also removed and cleaned the wall sconces, and removed the flags hanging in order to have them dry cleaned. When it came time to paint, our team needed to use three coats of paint to fully cover the area due to the age of the existing paint.
These customers were so pleased with our work, they invited our team back to paint the hallway, vestibule, interior exit, exterior doors and a few kitchen cabinets!
