Moneta Residential Exterior Painting Case Study

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT

In May 2026, CertaPro Painters® of Roanoke, VA, completed an exterior painting project for a home in Moneta, VA. The home’s siding, shutters, garage door, fascias, soffits, screened-in porch, rear window frame, and back deck showed faded paint, peeling and chipping, and naturally weathered surfaces.

To prepare the home, our team power-washed the exterior, scraped loose or peeling paint, replaced failing caulk, and spot primed as needed. We removed and reinstalled all downspouts, replaced five rotted dividers, and primed bare wood on the screened-in porch windows and deck floor boards. Once preparation was complete, we used Sherwin-Williams Extreme Bond Primer, SuperPaint VinylSafe Semi-Gloss, SuperPaint Satin, SuperPaint Semi-Gloss, and Porch & Floor Enamel in Satin to refresh and protect the exterior surfaces.

CHALLENGES

There were dividers on the screened-in porch that our crew replaced, sanded, primed, and painted.

THE FINAL RESULTS

The home’s exterior was transformed with fresh, durable paint that restored curb appeal and gave the property a clean, polished look.
