Commercial Storage and Equipment Rental Exterior Painting Project

In April 2025, CertaPro Painters® of Roanoke, VA, completed an exterior repaint for a busy commercial storage and equipment rental facility in Roanoke, VA. Years of exposure to the elements had left the building’s exterior visibly worn. Triangle designs that once gave the building its distinctive look had faded almost entirely, while trim and painted surfaces showed significant peeling, flaking, and discoloration.

Gabriel and his crew restored the building’s appearance by repainting key features in their original colors. The green soffit and red metal accent on the front of the building were refreshed to match their original tones. All soffits remained white, and the rear of the building was also repainted white. Faded triangle patterns on the front, left, and right sides of the building were carefully recreated by hand. On the right side, the team also restored a white half-moon design. The door and frame on the left side were painted white to match the surrounding surfaces.

Repainting the geometric triangle designs posed a unique challenge. With no stencils available and the original shapes heavily faded, Gabriel’s crew measured and mapped each design manually using chalk lines, levels, and painter’s tape. Precision, symmetry, and attention to detail were essential. In some areas, additional prep work was required to ensure a clean, consistent application.

The project was completed in just two days and successfully revitalized the facility’s look. The bold, refreshed exterior now reflects the business’s professionalism and high visibility in a busy commercial area.
