Law Office Exterior Painting Project

Commercial Office Space Exterior Painting Project
CertaPro Painters® of Roanoke, VA, was tasked with completing an exterior painting project for a commercial office space. The walls exhibited chipped and faded paint, and the building was a bank that was being converted into a law office building. Our team removed all wallpaper and wallpaper borders before performing the necessary repairs to the damaged walls, including skim coating where needed. We also scraped any loose or peeling paint, filled holes, sanded, smoothed, and caulked as required to ensure a clean, even surface.
After power washing the entire building, we began the preparation process by scraping any loose or peeling paint. We also replaced any failing caulk and spot-primed areas as needed. The entryway framing was badly rusted, and required scraping before we applied Kem-Kromik rust-prohibiting metal primer to the affected areas. We bond-primed all brick surfaces to address their slick finish and ensured all siding, fascia trim, and decorative trim areas were bond-primed before painting. Once the preparation was complete, we applied Sherwin Williams Pro-Industrial Enamel Paint to all doors, door frames, entryway trim, window frames, and one lamp post. For the exterior siding, fascia, and ceilings, we used Sherwin Williams SuperPaint for a durable finish.
The special challenge involved with this project was refreshing the building so it would not be recognized as a bank like it previously was. Despite this, CertaPro Painters® of Roanoke is experienced in giving a pre-existing building a refresh, breathing new life into an old structure.
The project was completed in just three days, transforming the law office’s exterior and interior, improving the overall appearance of the space. Check out the transformation in the before and after photos below!
