Commercial Office Space Interior Painting Project
In March 2025, CertaPro Painters® of Roanoke, VA, was tasked with completing an interior painting project for a commercial office space. The walls exhibited peeling, chipping, and faded paint, and the wallpaper in the offices was peeling and outdated. Our team removed all wallpaper and wallpaper borders before performing the necessary repairs to the damaged walls, including skim coating where needed. We also scraped any loose or peeling paint, filled holes, sanded, smoothed, and caulked as required to ensure a clean, even surface.
After the repairs were made, we applied an oil-based primer to the areas where wallpaper and borders were removed to prevent the wallpaper glue from bleeding through. Once the primer was dry, we painted the walls with Sherwin Williams SuperPaint. In the first office, we painted the two doors leading to the office closet, the door frame around the entryway, as well as the walls and window frames. The second office received paint on the door frame, walls, and window frame. Additionally, in the hallway, we painted the front door and frame, the door frames around the brown wooden doors, the window frame on the right-hand wall, and the side lights located at the front door. The two bathrooms also received attention, with the door frames, walls, and bathroom stalls painted in both.
The special challenge involved with this project was was working around business hours as employees could not be present while we painted. Despite this, CertaPro Painters® of Roanoke is experienced in working around customers and employees, maintaining a safe and clean work environment without disrupting the office’s daily operations.
The project was completed in just one and a half days, transforming the office’s interior and improving the overall appearance of the space. Check out the transformation in the before and after photos below!
