Exterior Accent Painting Case Study

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
In October 2024, CertaPro Painters® of Roanoke, VA, was contacted by a customer to paint their home’s exterior accents. Prior to starting the project, the exterior featured faded paint, damaged frames, and cracks. Our scope of work included scraping any loose or peeling paint, filling cracks with caulk, pressure washing, cleaning mildew from the soffit, repairing door frames, priming, and painting.

CHALLENGES:
One of the main challenges was painting the high window frames, which required large ladders and careful safety measures to protect both our team and passersby. Additionally, due to the home’s brick design, we were unable to use spray painting. Instead, we painted the window frames by hand with brushes to prevent overspray on the brick.

The project took place in October 2024 and was completed in 2 days.
