Commercial Stairway Repolish Project
In August 2024, CertaPro Painters® of Roanoke, VA, was hired to polish a stairway in McCoy, VA. Before starting, there was a significant amount of rust on most of the surfaces underneath the stairway.
The crew spent one day scraping and cleaning all metal surfaces with wire bristle brushes, this step removed loose rust and prepared the surfaces for further treatment. We then pressure washed everything to remove remaining debris so that we can have a clean surface for primer application. Our painters applied a rust inhibitor primer that helps prevent future rusting and proper adhesion for the final coating, which required 48 hours to dry. Although the stairway required thorough treatment to ensure effective repair, our team continued to work on the project without hesitation. We returned 2 days later and top coated everything with industrial enamel.
The project took 4 days to complete due to the dry time of the primer, our team not only improved the appearance of the stairway but also contributed to the overall maintenance and upkeep of the commercial property! Another delighted customer! See the transformation below.
