Restaurant Painting Project in Oakton Virginia

The building is a restaurant that has changed hands and is being remodeled. We changed the metal roof color from red to at black and we limewashed the entire exterior from a red brick to a white wash

ABOUT THE PROJECT:

The metal roof of the building had a peeling red paint. Since removing the whitewash in spots this was more art work than painting in order to achieve the desired look.

The metal roof of the building had a peeling red paint. So we powerwashed the roof and then scraped any remaining loose and peeling paint off. We then fired up the paint sprayer and sprayed the roof. The red brick was in good shape so the goal was to change the look of the building. In doing this the customer and I agreed that this was more art work than painting. We sprayed water on the brick to the surface, then applied the lime white wash on with a roller. We then waited about 30 minutes before we spray the brick with water in spots to remove the wash as can be seen in the pictures.

CONDITIONS / PROJECT INVOLVEMENT::
