Home Interior and Kitchen Cabinet Update
In March 2025, a residential painting project took place in Renton, WA, spanning five days from start to finish. The home, originally built in the 1960s, had recently undergone renovations, and CertaPro Painters® of Renton Kent, WA was hired to provide a custom paint finish for the newly installed kitchen cabinets, repaint walls, refresh the original brick fireplace, and correct and paint the millwork and interior doors.
SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
The project involved careful disassembly of the kitchen cabinets for proper preparation, priming, and painting. Wall and millwork corrections were performed to restore the home’s original surfaces to a like-new condition. The team seamlessly caulked the millwork into the walls and ensured a smooth, high-quality finish.
CHALLENGES:
One of the key challenges was coordinating the work in a way that allowed the homeowners to continue living in the space while ensuring the safety and comfort of their pets. Special equipment and techniques were required, including specialty primers for the cabinets and a racking system to allow the cabinet doors to dry in a clean, undisturbed environment. Through careful planning and execution, the project successfully transformed the home’s interior while accommodating the homeowners’ needs.

Donovan came out quickly and explained the process and made some recommendations. Communications and expectations were clear and thorough. The team arrived in a week and did a great job.
