Exterior Painting Service in Kent, WA

This home required significant preparation work to provide a beautiful and protective finish. The project involved scraping loose and peeling paint from most of the homes siding, removing loose and failing caulk around all windows and doors, and applying primer to stabilized surfaces. We also fully recaulked all previously caulked areas as well as all gaps and cracks. Our painters then applied two coats of premium Sherwin-Williams & Rodda paints via spray and back-rolling technique to ensure paint was pushed deep into the wood grain. The finishing touches were wrapped up with the full repaint of all the trim and fascia on the home.

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:

The project involved removing all loose and failing paint to provide a solid surface, and to stabilize and restore the homes significantly weathered siding. This was our most extensive ‘restoration’ project to date. The homes siding was significantly weathered, and the previous paint was fully failing and falling off of the home. We examined the siding, performed some wood replacement of siding, trim and fascia boards and were able to inspect and restore the majority of the homes original siding through proper preparation, full binding primer application and the use of premium quality Sherwin-Williams & Rodda exterior paints.

SPECIAL CHALLENGES

The homes siding was significantly weathered and the previous paint was fully failing and falling off of the home. This is why we had to fully restore all previously caulked areas and all gaps and cracks, as well as apply two coats of premium Sherwin-Williams & Rodda paints.
