Full Exterior Renewal for Valley Medical’s Covington Office
In October 2024, CertaPro Painters® of Renton/Kent completed its second large-scale project for Valley Medical Corporation, this time restoring the exterior of their Covington Office & Clinic Building.
Over four weeks, our team addressed years of weathering, organic growth, failing paint, and damaged siding, delivering a clean, durable, and refreshed exterior.
This comprehensive upgrade not only enhanced the clinic’s curb appeal but also provided long-term protection for a busy healthcare hub.
About the Project:
PROJECT SCOPE:
The work began with extensive pressure washing to remove dirt and organic growth, followed by full recaulking to seal gaps and prevent moisture intrusion.
Damaged concrete siding was repaired, and all previously painted surfaces received a fresh, high-quality repaint.
The project also required the use of specialized equipment, including an 85′ boom lift with ground-stabilizing supports to safely navigate over lawns and landscaped areas.
CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS:
Because the clinic remained operational throughout the project, minimizing disruption was essential. We worked closely with the Valley Medical Corporation Facility Director to coordinate scheduling, staging, and site safety.
The use of large boom lifts in landscaped areas required strategic ground stabilization to protect the property while accessing high and hard-to-reach areas.
Careful planning and communication ensured the work was completed efficiently and without interference to daily operations.
