The interior surfaces of the facility, including concrete walls, garage doors, and drywall, were in poor condition, covered in dirt, grease, and damage that required extensive preparation before painting.

The work involved thorough degreasing and washing of the concrete walls and garage doors, along with vacuuming to remove debris. Significant drywall repairs were also necessary, including removing broken sections, installing new drywall, mudding, seaming, and sanding to prepare for priming and painting. To ensure durability, the team applied specialty industrial primers and multi-purpose acrylic paints, creating a tough, easily cleanable surface.

Challenges and Solutions:

A key challenge was coordinating with facility supervisors to maintain workflow while the manufacturing plant remained operational. Additionally, the interior walls extended 30 feet high, requiring work in tight quarters around large industrial and electrical equipment. The team used a combination of scissor lifts, boom lifts, extension ladders, and scaffolding to safely and efficiently complete the project. Through careful planning and execution, the facility was restored with a fresh, durable finish while minimizing disruption to operations.
