In October 2022, CertaPro’s professional industrial facility painters were contacted to repaint and refresh various interior surfaces including wall painting and custom stenciling for navigation. This massive project required approximately 2,500 square feet of production staging areas to be refinished for the client. CHALLENGES:
Lift equipment was required to cut level lines approximately 20′ parallel to the floor. Lifts were also vital to the application of custom stenciling after the interior wall painting was completed.
Spot degreasing, equipment removal, and heavy masking to protect the surrounding area was vital before painting could even begin.
To minimize disruptions to this heavy industrial production facility, our painters had to work swiftly and safely while still delivering the best painting services in Renton. Senior staff handled coordinating the project and crew while checking in with the client when necessary.
CONDITIONS:
Concrete Walls – These walls required a thorough cleaning including spot degreasing before painting.
Large Scale Project – To get the project done in a timely manner, we sent our best painters and put them to work.
Crowded Area – Some parts of the project area had non-removable items that needed to protected. What items could be moved, were moved beforehand.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
Preparations – CertaPro secured a lift in order to access the hard to reach spaces
Cleaning – All interior walls were cleaned before painting or stenciling began.
Painting – Solid dark blue paint was applied to the walls in order to create a visual contrast with the stenciling for organizational purposes.
Stenciling – Wording was applied to various areas of the property at the direction of the client.
