About the Project:
The project, spanning three weeks, involved extensive surface preparation, including the removal of delaminating paint, crack repairs, rust removal, and a full exterior wash to eliminate organic growth. These initial steps were critical in ensuring a durable and high-quality finish.
Project Involvement:
The scope of work included a professional color consultation and the use of 85-foot boom lifts operated by lift-certified crews. Due to the building’s location, special considerations were necessary, including a city-approved traffic control plan and right-of-way closure permits to ensure the safety of pedestrians and vehicles while work was conducted on three public sidewalks.
Special Techniques:
CertaPro Painters utilized commercial-grade gas spray pumps to maximize efficiency without relying on the building’s power supply. Despite the challenges, the project was a great success, earning high praise from the Auburn Medical Plaza leadership team, including their CEO. The positive feedback has sparked enthusiasm for future collaborations and ongoing improvements to their facilities.
