The home was weathered and had areas of cracked and peeling paint due to sun/weather exposure exposing the home to accelerated deterioration due to water intrusion. Our painters were called out to the property to complete a full exterior painting service of the worn areas. You can learn more about this residential painting project below.
Project Involvement:
We scheduled time with the homeowners and our designer to pick up a color scheme that would accentuate the beautiful natural brick color across the home. The plan was to use Sherwin-Williams Repose Gray on the body of the home which blended with the grout in the brick, The entryway doors were painted Sherwin-Williams Spicy Hue to help highlight the clay color in the bricks. The Gutters/Fascia/Shutters were painted to pull in the bricks browns and blacks with Sherwin-Williams Black Fox. What a beauty!!!
The project required us to wash the surface, complete some minor cosmetic repairs, scrape and prime areas of the home where the previous paint layers were failing. We then fully re-caulked the home and painted it with premium Sherwin-Williams paints to provide a beautiful and lasting finish.
Special Challenges:
The customers wanted to blend the brick into the overall color palette of the home. For this we enlisted our best interior/exterior designer (free for customers).

The project required significant masking over brick, carport and multiple roof levels. The project also required scraping back loose and failing paint, followed up with peel bonding primer to help stabilize the surfaces prior to painting.
