Pottle's Transportation LLC - Kutztown, PA
The Client:
Pottle’s Transportation LLC is a family-owned & nationally recognized transportation carrier in the US. Founded in 1962, the company has grown from 11 trucks to over 160, expanded its staff, and won various awards in its industry. The company currently has four locations across the country, and they hired us to update the Kutztown, PA Terminal.
The Client Challenge:
After Pottle’s Transportation acquired the Kutztown, PA Terminal, they wanted a fresh coat of paint on all its surfaces. The previous owner’s branding was still visible on the building, and the metal siding was very faded. Additionally, the area surrounding the main entrance was dirty, faded, and in need of an update. Although the job started as a simple power wash and a fresh coat of paint, we realized we would be working on several different substrates (wood, steel, cinder block) and had to plan accordingly.
The CertaPro Painters® Solution:
Our crew completed the Pottle’s Transportation project in six days of October 2020. We started with a total power wash. Then, we used various techniques, including spraying, brushing, and roller work, as well as multiple colors and paint systems to ensure each substrate was painted correctly.
The Success and Result:
The end result was an updated building matching Pottle’s Transportation brand and vision.
