Multipurpose Gym of a Church in Plymouth, MI
CertaPro Painters® of Plymouth, MI had the opportunity to work on an interior painting project for a multipurpose gym within a church that was also being used as the main place for worship. The church wanted to improve the sound in the gym and had a special 2.5″ thick sound absorption system applied to the ceiling. We followed by painting the rest of the ceiling all in the same color of gray. Then we painted all the walls and doors and even a fabric dividing wall in grays and light colors. We used 3 lifts for this project and protected the floor, speakers, and other systems. To counteract some challenges we faced with this project, we removed doors to fit the lifts in the gym and helped take down and reinstall protective cages for the lights. As a result, the church was amazed by the new look and sound improvement. It was a delight to work with a community-driven church that supports so many people.

Painting projects like these can sometimes have preexisting barriers like the protective cages for the ceiling lights of this gym.
