CertaPro Painters® of Pittsburgh - South Hills, PA was contacted in December 2020 to give this stairway a fresh, modern look. The owners of the home wanted the project finished by the Christmas holiday. Their family was coming in town and they were going to be hosting guests.
The stairway required a significant amount of attention to detail. Every spindle, stair and wall string, and rail was done with care and precision. CertaPro Painters® of Pittsburgh - South Hills, PA had to cut in and around many fine details and protect the carpet with the wood being up so close.

Stairways are common projects for those looking to make the interior of their residential look like new. Much like this project, though, stairways require a high level of attention to detail.
This particular project also needed to be completed in a time crunch. Only a skilled team of professionals could complete this project that requires such detail in as short of an amount of time that was allotted.
CONDITIONS
- Wear and Tear: The stairway had outdated light wood spindles, hand rails, newels, wall/stair strings in a beautiful grand entrance. The entryway did not match the rest of the beautiful house.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
- Working with Wood: CertaPro Painters® of Pittsburgh - South Hills, PA sanded, primed, and applied two top coats of enamel paint. We also caulked all gaps and filled any imperfections that were on the stairway.
