Stages and The Gordy – Commercial Theater & Parking Garage Painting

Founded in 1978, Stages makes plays and tells stories that invite everyone to live more deeply and love more boldly. Stages is one of the region’s leading artistic employers, producing an average of 12 productions per year totaling more than 430 performances and welcoming 75,000+ visitors each season. In January 2020, Stages opened The Gordy, a new $35.4 million three-theater venue that will transform how Houston artists and audiences experience theater.

We were asked to paint the levels of the parking Garage and the sign on The Gordy before the building opened to the public. We used the branding colors on each level and the main brand color on the parking garage sign. This large 4-story sign needed a boom lift to allow us to paint the word “Stages”.
