Farmhouse, Barn, and Shed Refresh in Barrington
In September 2025, CertaPro Painters® of Palatine, IL had the unique opportunity to refresh a one-of-a-kind equestrian property in Barrington. Over the course of just five days, our crew transformed the farmhouse, horse barn, and outdoor shed with a complete repaint and targeted carpentry repairs. While the overall structures were in good condition, years of exposure had caused the paint to fade and sections of soffit and fascia to deteriorate.

Scope of the Work:
The project included painting all three buildings, replacing rotted soffit and fascia, and carefully caulking seams to guard against future damage. We also resurfaced doors, trim, soffits, fascia, paneling, dormers, and even the barn’s distinctive cupola. The result was a vibrant, cohesive look that not only enhanced the property’s charm but also provided long-lasting protection for years to come.
