Snapbox

The Task:

When Snapbox, a storage facility in Windsor Mill, MD, realized that the linear stripes that surround the outside of their building were fading, they knew that they required top-tier talent to paint a new elegant stripe. They subsequently contacted CertaPro Painters of Owings Mills / Westminster for some assistance!

The Work:

CertaPro Painters of Owings Mills / Westminster began working on this project in the summer of 2022. The job involved painting a blue linear stripe along concrete surfaces of the building as much as 30 feet in the air, so we had to incorporate a 45-foot boom lift into our workflow. In addition to the treacherous nature of working at these heights, we also were required to maneuver around fenced off areas of the building, limiting the accessibility to surrounding areas. Despite these challenges, our team was able to persevere.

Final Results:

CertaPro Painters of Owings Mills / Westminster successfully completed the project within 2 weeks, being able to provide Windsor Hill’s Snapbox with a fresh new look! As a result of the positive reaction to our work, we were also contacted by Snapbox in Mount Vernon, NY in September 2022 to perform the same job on their building!

Additional Job:

At the Mount Vernon Snapbox, we also painted numbers in the parking lot spaces in addition to the painting of a blue stripe around the exterior of the building. We faced similar challenges regarding the elevated heights we were working at, which required us to rent another 45-foot boom lift. Since this Snapbox was in Mount Vernon, it required us to travel across state lines before commencing our work.

This time, CertaPro Painters of Owings Mills / Westminster completed the job within only 2 days, even when taking the extra work of painting the parking spot numbers into account. This was only feasible due to the hardworking nature of our team. Just like at Windsor Hill, we were able to create a beautiful new look for Mount Vernon’s property.
