Baltimore City Community College

The Task:

Baltimore City Community College asked CertaPro Painters of Owings Mills / Westminster to turn a plain green wall into something bold and creative. They wanted an abstract design made up of straight lines and several colors. The customer gave us a sample image for inspiration and trusted us to come up with the final design.

The Work:

When we started the project, the wall needed some repairs. There were a few areas on the drywall that had to be fixed to make the surface smooth. After that, we cleaned and prepped the wall so the paint would stick properly. We then applied primer to give the new paint a good base. The painting process was the most detailed part of the job. Using the example image as a guide, we created a custom abstract design. We used painter’s tape to mark out clean, straight lines for each section. Making sure the lines were straight was very important to keep the design looking neat and balanced. We worked closely with the customer along the way to make sure they were happy with how the design was coming together.

Final Results:

The project was completed in just three days in December 2024. The finished wall had a fresh, modern look that made the space feel more lively and creative. Even though getting the lines just right was a challenge, our team handled it with care and attention to detail. In the end, CertaPro Painters of Owings Mills / Westminster delivered a high-quality, custom wall design that stood out and made a strong visual impact. The customer was very pleased with the final result.
