The Client Challenge:

In October 2022, the owners of this colonial home from the 1850s came to us looking for exterior painting services. The exterior had many layers of failing paint as there was severe alligatoring and peeling. The surfaces would need extensive prep work to remove the old paint and prepare them for a fresh coat.

The CertaPro Painters® Solution:

As expected, a lot went into the prep work for this project. We fully scraped the paint from all surfaces and sanded them to ensure the new coat would sit correctly. We then primed and painted all the exterior surfaces. A 40-foot boom lift was used to reach any high, hard-to-reach places.

The Success and Result:

The project took five weeks to complete. The owners were pleased with the final result, and we were excited to have assisted in restoring this historic property.
