Commercial Case Study
The First Presbyterian Church of Hamptonburgh
The Client:
The brown-shingled bell tower and manse of the First Presbyterian Church of Hamptonburgh is the current home of a congregation in continuous operation since 1769. This fifth iteration of First Presbyterian was built in 1910, replacing a 1893 edifice lost to fire a year prior.
The Client Challenge:
The buildings were badly in need of our low-pressure, warm-water power wash due to their proximity to the road. Shingles on the church were dry and cracking, the ramp nearly devoid of its previous coating. Deteriorated church sign, with faded and peeling paint, had broken off its support posts, sustaining damage to the sign face.
The CertaPro Painters® Solution:
Re-staining shingles and repainting trim on the main church building including 40+ ft bell tower; re-staining the handicapped ramp. Repainting of the Manse building. Repair and refurbishment of the Church sign.
The Success and Result:
This project took our team two weeks to complete. The final result was a revitalized look for the First Presbyterian Church of Hamptonburgh.
